Your Questions, Answered

How long does a typical project take?

Many projects are completed within 24 hours, and large batches of thousands of listings can often be processed in just a few hours. We use automation to accelerate image processing and data extraction, while human review ensures listings remain accurate and marketplace-ready.

Why should I trust Cavendish Contractors?

We're a new company, but our approach is built on proven technology rather than traditional manual workflows. By combining automation with human verification, we're able to process high volumes of listings quickly while maintaining accuracy. Instead of relying on legacy methods, we've built a service focused on efficiency, transparency, and delivering results our clients can depend on.

To demonstrate the quality of our service, we offer a free 50-listing sample. Review the finished CSV for yourself before deciding whether we're the right fit for your business.

Is my eBay account safe?

Yes. We only require the information necessary to complete your project. Your account credentials are never shared beyond what's required, and all project files are handled securely and confidentially.

How accurate is the pricing?

Our pricing system uses current market data to generate competitive prices based on recent eBay sales, helping ensure listings reflect realistic market values rather than generic estimates. If you have your own pricing strategy, custom prices can also be provided on request.

Do faster turnaround times affect listing accuracy?

No. Faster turnaround times never come at the expense of quality. Priority orders are processed earlier in our workflow and assigned additional team members for quality verification, allowing us to deliver your project sooner while maintaining the same high standard of accuracy.

What information do you need from me?

We typically require scans of your inventory, along with any listing preferences such as the names of your postage, payment and return policies as well as your business postcode. The more information you provide, the more complete your finished CSV file will be.

Can you handle large collections?

Yes. Our workflow is designed for high-volume projects, from a few thousand postcards to entire business inventories. Automation allows us to process large batches efficiently while every project is reviewed before delivery.

What format will I receive?

You'll receive a completed CSV file that's ready to import into eBay. Your listings will be configured as scheduled listings, giving you full control over when they're published.

Can you match my existing listing style?

Yes. If you have preferred titles, pricing rules, item specifics, or business policies, we'll incorporate them into your listings wherever possible to maintain consistency with your existing inventory.

What happens if I spot a mistake?

If you notice an issue after delivery, let us know. We'll investigate and correct any genuine errors related to your project as quickly as possible free of charge.

What if not all of the item specifics are filled in?

Our image data extraction system only extracts information that can be reliably identified from the scans. It can recognise details such as countries, landmarks, or other visible attributes, but it cannot infer information that isn't present, such as the date of an undated postcard. Where information cannot be determined, the relevant fields will be left blank or completed using any details you provide.

Can you create listings for different item categories?

Currently, we specialise in topographical postcards. We're actively expanding our systems to support additional categories, and more options will be available in the future. If you have a specific category in mind, feel free to contact us. We may be able to create a bespoke workflow for your project, although additional development costs may apply.
